If you're a real estate agent trying to create better marketing without losing hours to tech headaches, Canva just made your life a lot easier. The April 2025 update is packed with tools that can help you market listings, stay organized, and connect with clients in more creative and efficient ways. In this post, I’ll break down the newest features and how you can use them to elevate your business—no design background needed.
1. Multiple Page Sizes in One Project
Say goodbye to managing separate design files for every platform. Canva now lets you create multiple page sizes within a single project. That means you can design your Instagram post, Facebook story, printable flyer, and listing presentation all in one spot—without duplicating work or losing consistency.
💡 Real Estate Tip: Design a square Just Listed post, then quickly convert it to a vertical format for Stories or Reels—all inside the same file.
2. Canva Sheets + Magic Charts
Spreadsheets just got a glow-up. Canva Sheets is a visual-friendly alternative to Excel or Google Sheets, perfect for agents who want to track leads, listings, or marketing plans in style. Even better, the new Magic Charts tool turns your data into easy-to-read graphs with one click.
✅ Track calls and conversions
✅ Monitor listing performance
✅ Share clean visuals in team meetings or listing presentations
3. Scrollable Docs for Interactive Presentations
Forget flipping through slide decks. Scrollable Docs allow you to create sleek, scrollable brochures or presentations that flow naturally—ideal for showcasing marketing plans, listing packages, or buyer guides.
📄 Create a listing presentation your clients can scroll through on their phones without downloading a PDF or opening a separate file.
4. Canva AI for Content Creation
You can now generate real estate content—like property descriptions, emails, or social captions—directly inside Canva using simple prompts. It’s a fast, user-friendly way to stay consistent with your brand voice without bouncing between tools.
Here’s what Canva AI generated for one of my listings at 1805 Twilight Lane (in under 10 seconds):
“Welcome to 1805 Twilight, a charming three-bedroom, two-bath home nestled in the heart of the North Pine neighborhood in Conroe, Texas…”
It’s quick, polished, and MLS-ready (though I’d tweak a few words, like “boasts”—we’re all tired of that one).
5. Canva Code: No-Code Tools for Your Website
Yes, you read that right. Canva now lets you create interactive widgets like mortgage calculators and appointment schedulers—without writing any code. Just give Canva AI a prompt, and it’ll generate a working tool you can embed into your website.
I asked it to create a mortgage calculator with editable fields and a default 6% interest rate. Within seconds, I had a fully functioning tool I could use in a Canva design or embed directly on my site.
🔧 Use Cases for Agents:
Embed a mortgage calculator on your listing pages
Build an interactive buyer intake form
Create lead capture tools without hiring a developer
